Hi, I'm Linda Lewis and I want to welcome you to Afina Pomeranians. My kennel name is derived from the name of my first Pomeranian "Fina" Pomeroy Mary Kinte. Fina is 10 years old now and still going strong but through Afina Pomeranians she will be forever a part of my endevor.
I've been breeding and showing poms for 10 years now and I am more delighted with the breed today than ever before. Every new litter is a new opportunity.
The poms and I live in Petaluma, CA which is a small ranching community about an hour north of San Francisco. We all love it here!
NEWS FLASH!!! SOMETIME IN LATE MAY OR EARLY JUNE 2010 WE'LL BE MOVING TO SANTA ROSA; A BIT LARGER TOWN ABOUT HALF AN HOUR FURTHER NORTH!!!
With every breeding I strive for the ideal pom temperment; an outgoing, confident dog always eager to meet a new friend and share a new adventure. With regard to health I do OFA testing for Heart, Patellas, Hips and Thyroid. Always breeding for the next show dog I then look for the conformation stipulated in the Pomeranian Standard. It is an ever evolving challenge and that is what makes breeding and showing poms such a wonderful journey.
